2009 Paint a Scion: Local High Schools Compete for Grant

Here at Wellesley Scion we are committed to giving back to our local communities.

The 2009 Paint a Scion xB Challenge was a friendly art competition between three local high schools - Needham High, Natick High and Wellesley High.

The Theme for the 2009 Paint a Scion xB challenge is "United by Individuality."  Each school had to interpret this theme into a design.  On Saturday May 9th, Wellesley Scion invited the students to paint their design on our Scion xBs.  The students came prepared and worked hard to paint their masterpieces on our Scion xBs, and the results are astounding!  On display you will see the creative result of Needham High, Natick High and Wellesley High.

Wellesley Scion will give a $1000.00 grant to the winning school with the most votes.  Please vote on the Scion xB that you feel represents the "United by Individuality" theme the best.

Voting will be open until 6 PM on Saturday May 23rd.

The soldier who lost his home in a fire last week is getting a helping hand from Wellesley Toyota, which won't charge him for the work done to his Toyota Tundra pickup.

Michael Doe, a chief warrant officer working at Natick Soldier Systems Center, dropped off his truck before heading to Afghanistan for a month and a half. The day after he returned, the home he shared with his wife and three children on the Army base burned down.

Doe will pick up his truck today, and Wellesley Toyota will pick up the bill...
