Exterior
On the outside of a 2022 Highlander, there's a lot to
appreciate. LED projector headlights, LED taillights, and LED daytime
running lights are standard, and many trims have LED fog lights as well.
On the higher trims, there is an adaptive front-lighting system.
Through this system, headlights can change their angles if this would
allow them to better light up the road. Another futuristic feature is
the available rain-sensing windshield wipers. This Toyota SUV can ride
on 18- or 20-inch wheels and certain trims stand out with their chrome
highlights and/or exclusive badging.
Interior
The cabin of the new Toyota Highlander is spacious and
comfortable. Legroom in the front is 42 inches, and in the second row,
it's 41 inches. This gives passengers in Newton, MA, a lot of room to
move around and stretch their legs. It's always nice to have extra seats
to accommodate more passengers, and the third row of the Highlander is a
major selling point. Of course, the interior space can be used to haul
cargo instead of passengers. The maximum cargo capacity is 84.3
cubic-feet when all the rear seats are folded down. Those seats can be
trimmed in fabric, SofTex (which is a synthetic leather), or leather.
The front seats can be heated and ventilated, and the rear seats could
also have heating elements built into them. With numerous storage
compartments in the cabin, people can have what they need nearby while
still keeping things tidy.
