Trung Le was amazing & very helpful in my visit & purchase of a new car at Wellesley toyota

My wife and I recently went through our first car-buying experience, and to say we had no idea what we were doing would be an understatement. We knew we wanted a Toyota SUV, but beyond that, the entire process was completely new to us. We visited quite a few Toyota dealerships in Boston and on the North Shore and, unfortunately, had a lot of the experiences people warn you about — aggressive salespeople, a lot of pressure, and the feeling that making a sale was much more important than actually helping us understand the process and find the right vehicle. After a while, we'd become pretty discouraged. Buying our first new car should have been an exciting experience, but instead, we were starting to dread going to another dealership and having to go through the process all over again. Then, one Sunday morning, we happened to drive by Toyota Wellesley and decided to stop in to see if they had some SUVs we could test drive. That spontaneous decision ended up completely changing our car-buying experience. We were introduced to Marcus, one of the Sales Consultants at Toyota Wellesley, and from the moment we sat down with him, we realized that buying a car didn’t have to be the stressful and frustrating experience we had come to expect. He took the time to understand what we were looking for, walk us through our options, and answer the countless questions we had. He knew the vehicles inside and out, but more importantly, he was straightforward with us. If there was something he thought was worth paying for, he explained why. If there was something he didn’t think we needed, he was equally honest about that. It was probably very obvious to Marcus that we were first-time car buyers and didn’t really know how any of this worked. He could have easily used that to his advantage — and after some of our experiences at other dealerships, we knew there were salespeople who would. Instead, Marcus made sure we understood what we were looking at and gave us the space to make our own decisions. There was never any pressure to buy, or commit to a timeline - he never even brought it up. We never felt like we were being sold to; we felt like we had someone we could trust to help us navigate a process that was completely foreign to us. In all honesty, we walked into Toyota Wellesley with absolutely zero intention of buying a car from them. Wellesley isn’t particularly close to where we live, and we had really just stopped in on a whim to test drive a few cars. We left knowing that even if it meant going a little out of our way, we had found our Toyota dealership, and the sale consultant we wanted to work with. When we were ready to buy, Marcus found us our dream 4Runner, spec’d exactly how we wanted it, and worked incredibly hard to get us to a price that made sense for us. He kept us updated throughout the entire process while we waited for the vehicle to arrive, and once it was on site, he made the paperwork and final purchase incredibly easy. We always knew what was going on, what came next, and what we needed to do. He even spent hours with us sitting in our new vehicle, helping us get all connected, and showing us how everything works. Looking back, there isn’t a single part of our experience that I think could have been handled better, and that was without a doubt because we were working with Marcus. We went into buying our first car knowing almost nothing about the process and expecting it to be stressful. Marcus completely changed that for us and turned it into the exciting experience that buying your first new car should be. We absolutely love our new 4Runner, and whenever we’re in the market for another Toyota, Marcus and Toyota Wellesley will be our first call. Cannot recommend him enough.

I went to buy a car here a week or so ago. I worked with Alans. He made the process really quick and easy. No complaints thus far. Would go here again if I were to get another car and/or recommend them!

We shopped for a used vehicle here and would have bought it but for the availability elsewhere of a similar vehicle in a color we preferred. Marcus was professional and straightforward, the dealership atmosphere was calm, and the pricing was right. This is the dealership experience you hope for but seldom get. We will check here first when we look for our next car.

On our first appointment, Alex showed us a few vehicles, even though we wanted to test drive a few different models, Alex was still very patient with us. After choosing a model he also helped us understand which trim would be the best fit for us! Alex is an exceptional young man and Wellesley Toyota is very lucky to have him there, he even gave us a tour of the dealership and shared why this is the best place to purchase! I had a really good experience at Wellesley Toyota, especially thanks to Joel. He was honestly one of the nicest and genuinely kindest car dealers we’ve dealt with. He was very professional, patient, and helpful, answered all of our questions, and took us on several test drives while we were trying to figure out what would be the best fit for our family. In the end, we decided not to get a Toyota right now and keep looking, but we really appreciated how Joel treated us throughout the process. There was never any pressure, and he was just as helpful even though we weren’t ready to buy. He was also super nice to my son and really great with kids. So if you need a car or a babysitter… just kidding 😂 But seriously, he’s a genuinely nice guy. If you’re looking for a Toyota, I really hope you choose Joel — he deserves the business. And if we decide on a Toyota in the near future, I would definitely be happy to go back to him.

Joel the salesperson was exceptionally helpful, polite, and knowledgeable. No pressure sales. David, the finance manager was great. No charade, no back and forth haggling no dumping of aftermarket stuff. Overall a fantastic buying experience. I would highly recommend this dealership to my friends and ask them to see Joel.
